Sumner Mormeneo is a multimedia artist based in Los Angeles, originally from Orlando, Florida. His work spans painting, performance, production, and beyond, drawing heavy inspiration from surrealism and the haunting visual language of German Expressionism. Mormeneo has earned numerous accolades throughout his career in Orlando, including nominations for the prestigious Golden Brick Award and "Best Local Visual Artist" by Orlando Weekly every year from 2017 to 2021. His groundbreaking show The Infinite Conversation earned him a Critics Choice Award at the 2021 Orlando Fringe Festival, recognizing his innovative approach to pushing the limits of theater, performance art, and technology. Mormeneo relocated to Los Angeles in 2022, continuing to expand his artistic practice.
